Gold prices in Pakistan have experienced a significant surge today, with the price of gold increasing by Rs 2,300 per tola. According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the new price of one tola of gold now stands at Rs 288,700. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has risen by Rs 1,972, bringing it to Rs 247,513.

This price increase follows a recent trend in the gold market, where global prices have also shown an uptick. As per the association’s report, the global price of gold has increased by $22, reaching $7,263 per ounce. This increase in international gold prices has contributed to the rise in local prices, affecting both the retail market and investors alike.

Yesterday, gold prices had taken a sharp dip, with a decrease of Rs 2,700 per tola, making today’s surge particularly notable. The volatile nature of the gold market continues to impact consumers and investors, with prices fluctuating in response to both domestic and international market forces.
