Pakistan Champions Unveil Jersey for WCL Season 2

The Pakistan Champions team, having secured the runner-up position in the inaugural World Championship of Legends (WCL), has officially presented its fresh team jersey as anticipation builds for the event’s second season. The tournament is scheduled to take place in Birmingham later this month.

The franchise, boasting a lineup of star players, revealed their updated emblem on X, stating: “We are excited to present the official jersey for the Pakistan Champions in the World Championship of Legends 2025.”

Following a successful debut season the previous year, the WCL T20 League is set to return for its second edition during July and August.

The competition will feature legends from six nations: India, Australia, Pakistan, South Africa, England, and the West Indies.

In the initial season, Pakistan Champions displayed a strong performance, achieving significant victories during the group stage matches.

Their campaign began with a win against Australia, followed by a dominant performance against the West Indies. They achieved a total of 243/4 in a memorable, high-scoring match against India before restricting their opponents to 175/9.

Under the leadership of former Pakistan captain Younis Khan, the team sustained their momentum with a victory over England; their sole defeat in the group stage was against South Africa.

The Men in Green secured a spot in the final against India, progressing to the semifinals and defeating the West Indies by 20 runs.

In the final, Pakistan set a target of 157, which India successfully chased in 19.1 overs, winning the championship by five wickets.

Notably, Pakistan Champions are scheduled to compete against England Champions on July 18 at Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham, marking the commencement of the WCL’s second season.

The highly anticipated match between India and Pakistan is slated for July 20 at the same venue.
