Bunny’s Limited Installs Bread Production Plant in Islamabad
Bunny’s Limited announced on Thursday the establishment of a bread manufacturing facility located in the I-9 Industrial Area, Islamabad.
In a notification issued to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company stated that trial operations have been successfully completed, and commercial manufacturing has commenced.
The company informed the PSX that the installed capacity of this bread production line represents approximately 25% of the capacity of the existing bread line in Lahore.
The notification further indicated that Bunny’s plans to utilize warehouses in various cities to distribute its products across northern regions of the country, encompassing Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
The company’s management anticipates that this increase in production capability and the expansion into a new geographical area will contribute to enhancing the overall profitability of the company.
Previously, on May 21, the company had disclosed its decision to establish the bread production plant in the I-9 Industrial Area, Islamabad.
At that time, the company stated that the plant would be funded from its own resources, with the necessary funds already allocated for the project.
Bunny’s was initially established in Pakistan as a private limited company in 1980 and subsequently transitioned into a public limited company.
The company’s primary business activity involves the production and distribution of bakery items and other food products.
