As part of its Sarsabz Tabeer program, Fatima Fertilizer, in collaboration with the Punjab government and MASH Welfare Hospital, has introduced a new healthcare pillar aimed at improving the well-being of rural women and farming families.

The first free medical camp was held on June 26 at THQ Hospital Kehrorpaka, Lodhran, delivering essential medical consultations and free medication to over 400 participants, including female farmers, children, and elderly family members. A panel of specialists provided services in gynaecology, paediatrics, nephrology, neurology, family medicine, and ophthalmology.

About 100 female farmers attended the event, demonstrating strong community involvement. Officials from the Multan Division and local administration, along with management from Fatima Fertilizer and MASH, led the camp and highlighted its aim to offer accessible healthcare in underserved areas.

With this initiative, Sarsabz Tabeer expands its core pillars, education, skills training, and financial inclusion, by adding healthcare to create a more holistic support system. The program has already provided vocational training in value-added agriculture to thousands of women and offers micro‑finance support in partnership with Akhuwat Foundation.

Organizers say that integrating health support into economic and educational empowerment is critical to fostering resilient rural communities. More medical camps are being planned as part of this effort to build healthier, economically secure futures for women across the province.
