Gold Prices Decline in Pakistan

Gold rates in Pakistan experienced a downturn on Wednesday, mirroring a similar trend observed in the international market. Domestically, the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs600, settling at Rs356,200.

According to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold fell by Rs514 to reach Rs305,384.

On the preceding day, Tuesday, the per tola gold price had risen by Rs6,600, reaching Rs356,800.

The international gold rate also saw a decrease on Wednesday, with the rate standing at $3,342 per ounce (including a premium of $20), which reflects a loss of $6, according to APGJSA.

In related news, the price of silver per tola also decreased, falling by Rs18 to Rs3,816.
