Pakistani Passport Ranking Improves, Offering Access to 32 Countries
Thanks to a recent improvement in its global ranking, Pakistani passport holders now have the opportunity to visit 32 nations either without a visa or by obtaining a visa upon arrival.
According to the most recent data from Henley & Partners, a global advisory firm specializing in citizenship and residency, the Pakistani passport currently holds the 100th position worldwide.
Notably, in 2021, the passport was ranked at 113th place.
The 2025 Henley Passport Index indicates that Singapore is in the lead, granting its citizens visa-free entry to 193 destinations. Japan and South Korea are close behind, sharing the second spot with access to 190 destinations.
Several European nations, including Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, and Spain, are in third place, as their passports allow entry to 189 destinations without requiring a visa.
This development follows a recent bilateral agreement between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which allows individuals with diplomatic and official passports from either nation to travel without a visa.
