Novacare Hospital, under construction in Islamabad and scheduled to open in 2026, has joined Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust’s International Affiliate Network. This groundbreaking partnership marks the first-ever affiliation between the NHS and a Pakistani hospital, aiming to elevate local healthcare standards to match top international benchmarks.

With a planned capacity of 250 inpatient beds and 28 clinical services, Novacare will benefit from expert guidance on care models, staffing, clinical protocols, and quality assurance. Through the agreement, Novacare’s medical staff will engage in multidisciplinary training sessions, patient case reviews, and real-time consultations with Imperial College specialists. Advanced referrals to London-based private care facilities will also be facilitated for complex cases.

Backed by the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office and the Department for Business & Trade, the affiliation supports Novacare Hospital’s ambition to achieve LEED, WELL, and EDGE certifications, as well as Joint Commission International accreditation. These initiatives are designed to set new standards for tertiary healthcare in Pakistan.

This strategic alliance represents a new era in Pakistan’s healthcare evolution, promising enhanced patient safety, clinical excellence, and world-class training for healthcare professionals.
