Pakistan to Face Bangladesh in Three T20Is in July

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has officially announced the schedule for Pakistan’s three-match T20I series against Bangladesh, set to take place from July 20 to 24.

All three games will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.

The Pakistan men’s cricket team is slated to arrive in Bangladesh on July 16 in preparation for the series. The first T20I will commence on July 20 at the Shere-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.

The remaining two T20Is will also be hosted at the same venue on July 22 and 24, respectively. All matches are scheduled to begin at 5 PM Pakistan Standard Time.

The last time these two teams competed in a T20I series was in May, where Pakistan secured a dominant series victory on their home ground.

In the previous series, Pakistan started strong, achieving a convincing 37-run victory by dismissing Bangladesh for 164 after posting 201/6. Pakistan continued their dominance in the following match, restricting Bangladesh to 144 after scoring the same number of runs, resulting in a significant 57-run win.

Bangladesh showed resilience in the final T20I, setting Pakistan a challenging target of 197, propelled by a half-century from Parvez Hossain Emon. However, Pakistan successfully chased the target with seven wickets in hand and 16 balls remaining, highlighted by a remarkable century from wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Haris.
