Ghulam Nabi Memon, the Inspector General of Sindh Police, has stressed that there will be no compromise when it comes to the security of Chinese nationals in the province. Speaking with Geo News, he emphasized that there have been no reports of extortion against Chinese citizens in Sindh.
Memon also addressed concerns regarding the limited movement of Chinese nationals due to security issues. He highlighted the importance of adhering to security protocols for foreign nationals, which are critical for ensuring their safety. Despite some challenges in local responses, Memon reassured the public that the safety of Chinese nationals remains a top priority for Sindh’s law enforcement. Additionally, he mentioned that local sponsors are facing challenges in securing the same level of response as before.
In response to the ongoing security challenges, IG Sindh also suggested that citizens consider installing surveillance cameras on their properties to enhance personal safety.
