Gold Prices Decline in Pakistan

On Friday, gold rates in Pakistan experienced a downturn, mirroring the global market trend. The price of gold per tola in the local market settled at Rs357,000, marking a decrease of Rs1,595 throughout the day.

According to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold reached Rs306,069, after a reduction of Rs1,368.

Previously, on Thursday, the per tola gold price had reached Rs358,595 following a daily decrease of Rs460.

The international gold rate also saw a decrease today, with the rate standing at $3,356 per ounce (including a $20 premium), reflecting a $16 drop, as reported by APGJSA.

Simultaneously, the price of silver per tola also decreased by Rs24, bringing it to a final price of Rs3,796.
