Pakistan’s Foreign Exchange Reserves Exceed $17 Billion
The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has reported that the nation’s total liquid foreign exchange reserves have surpassed $17 billion as of last week.
According to data released on June 13, 2025, Pakistan’s aggregate liquid foreign reserves amounted to $17.005 billion. This represents an increase of $129 million from the $16.875 billion recorded on June 6, 2025.
During the period under review, the SBP’s reserves experienced a rise of $46 million, reaching $11.722 billion, compared to $11.676 billion the previous week. Concurrently, the foreign exchange reserves held by commercial banks saw an increase of $83 million, totaling $5.283 billion.
