Gold Prices Rise in Pakistan Following International Market Trend
Gold prices in Pakistan experienced an increase on Friday, mirroring the upward trend observed in the international market. The price of gold per tola in the local market reached Rs361,500, marking a gain of Rs4,600 during the day’s trading.
According to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs4,023, settling at Rs310,007.
On the preceding day, Thursday, the price of gold per tola had reached Rs356,900, after an increase of Rs4,000 during the day.
The international gold rate also saw a surge on Friday, reaching $3,417 per ounce (with a premium of $20), which represents an increase of $46, according to APGJSA.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola also saw an increase of Rs35, eventually settling at Rs3,780.
